Ralph Declet founded MBT in 2022 as Principal and Managing Member. MBT is a mission and community driven real estate consultant and developer engaged in attainable multifamily housing development. MBT and key partners have over 40 years of experience with a command of best practices in the housing development process. Over the years, Ralph Declet and key partners have managed development projects comprised of new construction and gut renovation of over 1,500 dwelling units in NYC and Puerto Rico with a total development cost of over $400 million. Ralph Declet is the lead partner interacting with government agencies including NYC Housing Preservation Department (HPD), NYC Housing Development Corporation (HDC), Housing Urban Development (HUD) and NYS Homes and Community Renewal (HCR). Ralph Declet is also engaged in on-going initiatives in support of MBT with the major national housing advocacy organizations including Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), Enterprise, Corporation for Supportive Hosing (CSH) and other housing advocacy organizations. Additionally, Ralph has established strong relationships with organizations that provide funding for housing development initiatives, including national and local banks, national tax credit syndicators, and various local and federal government agencies. Specialties: Affordable housing development including new construction, gut rehab. Also, extensive experience in multifamily financing including tax credits, bond financing; conventional bank financing and HUD 202 and 221 (d) (3) financing.
