Joe is a 43-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry with executive leadership experience at Cushman & Wakefield, Lee & Associates, and Grubb & Ellis. In his current role, he oversees the development, leasing, and sales of the Wonderful Logistics Center—a 1,700-acre, 25 million-square-foot master-planned logistics hub whose tenants include Walmart, Amazon, Target, Ross Stores, FedEx, ATD, and Smucker’s.

Vargas has served in officer roles on the Boards of Directors for AIR CRE, the Southern California Chapter of NAIOP, and the Los Angeles Headquarters Association. Beyond his distinguished real estate career, he is a two-time Olympian who represented the United States and earned a silver medal at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
