With over 15 years of nonprofit experience, including most recently her tenure as Executive Director of the South Florida Community Development Coalition based in Miami, May brings deep expertise in fundraising, administration, and stakeholder engagement.

She identifies as Afro-Latina of Dominican and Puerto Rican heritage, is a native Spanish speaker, and holds an MBA in Project Management and a Master of Science in Real Estate. She currently serves on the City Planning Commission in her hometown in North Carolina and is a passionate advocate for equitable community development.
